Harvested 28 lbs of peppers to dry out in garage till Thursday. We mulched one row of peppers with 2 bags of grass someone had left.
Whit had mowed and it looks so nice.
Wes will move the much this weekend ino the 2 unplanted raised beds.
Things to do this week:
garlic pulling party Monday 2pm!
pull weeds everywhere.
move last wheelbarrow of leaves and the mulch into the 2 unplanted raised beds. (wes)
hoe/weed the peas.
pick the sweetpeas.
get about 50 bags of leaved to mulch all middles and around all plants. see plot 6 aisle row as an example.
get all the weeds out of plot 1 to prep for sweet taters next week. OK to pull/hoe/till since lots of weeds.

The pix include various shots of the garden plus a family who toured the garden plus the Stanfords ((l-r) Sophia, Aidan, Susan, and Grayson) who helped harvest 36 lbs of onions, broccoli, sweetpeas, reddishes, and turnips this morning which I took to the Food Pantry.

Our new purplehull peas have sprouted.
We plan to work in the garden Monday 5-7pm. We will plant more rows of purplehull peas, do some weeding, and continue putting organic material (bring bags of leaves and grass) and dirt into the new raised beds. Come join us and have fun!!!
