YTD 203 lbs + 36 lbs (tare) today = 239 lbs!!!
Link to pix.
The pix include various shots of the garden plus a family who toured the garden plus the Stanfords ((l-r) Sophia, Aidan, Susan, and Grayson) who helped harvest 36 lbs of onions, broccoli, sweetpeas, reddishes, and turnips this morning which I took to the Food Pantry.
We only have 4 broccoli plants and one had started to bolt. We got the onions (about a tenth) that had begun to flower. We got all the rest of the reddishes (yes I can spell but am Southren), and turnip greens.
Our new purplehull peas have sprouted.
We plan to work in the garden Monday 5-7pm. We will plant more rows of purplehull peas, do some weeding, and continue putting organic material (bring bags of leaves and grass) and dirt into the new raised beds. Come join us and have fun!!!

Through the generosity of the Collierville Christian Church and MAMG, this Plant-A-Row for the Hungry (PAR) garden donates its vegetables to the Collierville Food Pantry, Resurrection Catholic School and Fayette County Project Outreach and its flowers to Page Robbins and Habitat for Humanity.
