Victory Garden status 7/28/2011
YTD 773 lbs + 68 lbs this week = 841 lbs!!!
Sunday July 24:
Me and the Collierville Christian Church youth group did some clean up and picked 15 lbs of peas, cucumbumers, sugar baby watermelons, and bell peppers and delivered to Mrs Johnson on South st.
Thursday July 28:
Me, Peggy and Whit picked 53 lbs of cucumbumers, peas, squarsh, maters, bell peppers, eggplant fruit, a cantaloupe, and 2 sugar baby watermelons, and took to the Dragonville Food Pantry.
Next work day Monday 8/1 5-7pm to pick peas.
Intern Chris Norris has been doing a lot of weeding and watering this week and putting a load of rotted manure on the compost pile.
Eagle Scout candidate Bobby Sanchez will complete the fencing around the compost/storage area on Sunday.
Aint God good!

Through the generosity of the Collierville Christian Church and MAMG, this Plant-A-Row for the Hungry (PAR) garden donates its vegetables to the Collierville Food Pantry, Resurrection Catholic School and Fayette County Project Outreach and its flowers to Page Robbins and Habitat for Humanity.
