I dropped by the garden Sep 1, 2012 Satiddy morning and yestiddy (Monday) morning and picked a total of 12 pounds maters and lopes, which I took to Mrs Julia Ferguson on Harris CV to share with her neighbors.
3,278 lbs YTD + 12 = 3,290 lbs YTD!!!!!!!!
Two upcoming work opportunities for fun and fellowship, Lord willing and depending on the weather:
Thursday morning 8-9am pick mustard greens and a few maters and peppers. Mustard leaves need to be pinched or pruned off leaving the plants to grow so more.
Saturday morning 10am-noon. Clean out the cantaloupe patch (plot 6) and plant more turnip greens and maybe some more cabbages. Remove the unproductive mater vines and cages.
Aint God good!
