59 degrees and sunny! Who could ask for anything more.
Adam, Emily, Jerry, Sue, and I:
Planted the skips in the turnip patches.
Prepared the beds and planted the rest of plot and 2/3rds of the two front raised beds with kale (3 varieties), collards, rutabagas, and spinnich.
Watered ever thang and sprayed the greens,
Cleaned out plot 6 as best we could without disturbing the ripening watermelons.
Connie cut zinnias this morning to take to first responder stations in honor of 9/11. She is amazing to do all this angel work while receiving her own treatments at West Clinic.
Ever week Laura takes 15 to 20 vases of zinnias to the hospice and a couple of other well deserved places. What a beautiful good deed!
Next work date is 8am next Thursday Sep 19.
We will harvest mustard and turnip greens.
We need to gather OM and put in the middles between all the planted rows!
Lord willing, we can finish cleaning and planting plot 6 next Satiddy morning 8am which will finish planting the fall garden. Yah!!!!!!!!!!
