WOW A wonderful flight of volunteer angels got a ton of work and fellowship done this morning. Bari, Jane, Sherry, Sue, Jerry, Wes, Chris, Mark, and I worked hard and got'er done.
Whit and Jan will follow up and mow and prepare plot 2 for planting more greens.
Sue and Jerry planted two flats of Bonnie Hybrid cabbages and one flat of Savoy cabbages donates by LES BRANNUM of BONNIE PLANTS. Bless his good heart!!!!
We pulled pea vines and put in dumpster, harvested Kentucky wonder pole beans and crowder peas and blackeyed peas and okra and red Chinese beans and slicer cucumbumbers and lemon cucumbumbers and jalapenyo peppers and maters and Minnesota midget cantaloupes and turnip greens for a total of 82 lbs.
I took the produce to shotgun houses on South Street.
And I sprayed the greens.

1. Harvest Thursday pole beans, bell peppers, jalapenos, aigplants, cantaloupes, cukes, maters, and GREENS (thin by 50 percent).
2. Layoff and plant plots 2 and 5 (middle plots) turnip greens.
