Today was another unbelievably mild sunny day in the Victory Garden. The Good Lord is watering the garden just enough. ALL our seeds have sprouted including the new ones we planted on Satiddy.
I harvested 36 lbs of turnip greens and 13 lbs or aigplants, beans, bell peppers, and jalapenyo peppers. Patree will take them to the Collierville Food Pantry in the morning.
Harvest total 2013 to date:
2,049 TD + 49 lbs = 2,098 lbs new YTD. OVER a ton!
Monday morning 8am, Lord willing, we will harvest turnip more greens.Greens not show as phone battry died. Other pix are after a light rain showing cabbgies and 3 plots in various stages of growth and showing our beautiful soil.
