Rain has kept us all away from the Garden... but Carl found a small window of non-rainy weather to mow yesterday. It's forecasted for 50% or more of rain possible during tonight's Girl Scout zinnia event and the garden is really soggy...so not sure if we'll have to reschedule. Stephanie slogged around and took a few pictures... the Garden seems really, really happy about all of the rain. Most gardeners... say enough already.
Stephanie thinks the Garden will need Wednesday to dry out (hopefully), But, Thursday morning, assuming the weather cooperates and the soil is not too soupy, we'll be harvesting some more onions and radishes and anything else that looks ready for the Pantry.... Carl and Stephanie will be there around 7:30 am for probably an hour. Please come if you can.
Friday morning, unfortunately, looks like rain..... But, Saturday morning from 8:30 am - 11 am Stephanie's planning to be at the Garden pulling weeds and tidying up...particularly in plot one (current home of onions) and plot four (past home of garlic)... and maybe some of the side walkway edges. Please come if you are able.
