Volunteers Twila, Arlene, Judy, her daughter and grandsons, Lisa and Jan did the following:
  • Judy, grandsons and daughter dug potatoes from 3 raised beds in plot #6.  Jan dug the potato bin.  Jan took home the potatoes to dry and will bring back for Thursday's harvest to Collierville food bank.
  • Jan and Twila twined the Traveler tomatoes in plot #4 and Juliette tomatoes in Plot #3.
  • Arlene (our Zinnias organizer) cut Zinnias and arranged bouquets for Page Robbins
  • Lisa picked up the Bouquets
  • Jan sprayed corn something is eating on the ears - squirrels, chipmunks?, white flies are gone, removing the bush beans has curtailed the cucumber beetles.
  • South side garden fence was loose in areas.  Jan laid the railroad ties on top of the chicken fence to prevent any animals getting in.
