Total YTD harvest donation = 3,565 lbs

Work Progress:

On Thursday December 10,  Teresa, Jan, Twila, Stephanie harvested remaining produce and Patree delivered it. Spread pine needles around perennials.

Since then, the 2016 MAMG budget was planned, submitted, and approved. Plant plans discussed and agreed upon and seeds ordered.

Jan’s been working hard on an electronic 2016 garden plan through Farmers Almanac online. It’s an amazing model of the garden that can be stepped through month by month! It generates monthly planting plans and plant lists, as well as warns of any companion/succession plan concerns.
Stephanie and her son CJ have been busy making homemade seed tape with some of the smaller seeds in an effort to minimize the need for thinning out the seeds later. So far we’ve tackled lots of carrots and turnips!
