Can you help?
- A self directed group, family, or community club to cut flowers and arrange at the garden on Mondays or Tuesdays with delivery on same day. (CVG volunteers are willing to help educate about cutting and arranging the flowers the first 2 weeks). Flowers to be delivered to Page Robbins or preferred nursing home from June to the end of September. CVG will furnish pint glass jars and tags for the flowers. The group will arrange to pick up for the empty pint jars prior to delivery day.
- Carpenter/handy person(s). Reinforce fencing and construct legs for garden workbench/table. Work needs done in March, days and times negotiable. Project #2- rehab raised beds. Work to begin in September and October with days and times negotiable.
- Harvest delivery person(s). Deliver Harvest on Thursday mornings to Collierville Food Pantry only, 167 Washington St,Collierville, TN 38017.Pick up harvest from CVG at 8:45 am starting March 17 until December 15. Will need a covered truck bed or SUV type of vehicle.

Work Progress:
On Thursday February 25, Jan, Twila, Teresa, Leah, Evelyn, Stephanie, Mary. Harvested 3 lbs of collard greens and delivered to the food pantry. Weeded plot 6. Weeded plot 3. Adjusted level in plot 5 near center walkway with clay soil to aid in water runoff. Leveled area around front water spigot. Started laying heavy duty weed barrier fabric in plot 6. Susan delivered onions (THANK YOU!). Fed birds.
On Friday February 26, Teresa, Jan, Twila, Leah, Carol, Mary, Stephanie. Completed installation of weed barrier in plot 6. Pulled weeds in plots 5 and 2. Cleaned out plot 1 raised bed. Moved volunteer garlics. Moved remaining red cabbage to plot 6. Talked weekend planting plan. Dr. Chris visited the garden. Judy brought couple from Arkansas to tour the garden. Completed installation of heavy duty weed barrier down center walkway. Added landscape pins to walkway intersections in plot 6.
