On Wednesday March 16Jan, Twila, Teresa, Stephanie met to finish up Spring Fling paper labels and plan the Intern visit to the garden.

On Thursday March 17, Jan, Twila, Arlene, Teresa, Leah, Sheila, and Stephanie finished cleaning up the Spring Fling donation perennial pots, transported plants to the Agricenter, and added the paper ID tags. Total plant donation: 165+ to the Spring Fling, 20 to Elmwood Cemetery. Transplanted the curly kale from the zinnia bed to plot 4— the rabbits…or other herbivores… had discovered their location.

Beauty in the Garden:

We have some yukon potatoes coming up!

Homemade seed tape worked to help us perfectly space the turnips!

Here come the strawberries!

And the peas

And the arugula a la “Patree”
