5 lbs delivered to a family in need

16 lbs (plus held tomatoes from previous week) given to Fayette County Project Outreach

28 lbs of Vardaman sweet potatoes held for drying/curing

3 lbs tomato trial (edible) tomatoes harvested (plus “tons" sacrificed to the furry and/or creepycrawly garden residents) — edible ones held for ripening/future donation

Work Progress:
 
On Monday July 25 - Deena, Patree, Teresa, Stephanie. Harvested 5 lbs for a family in need. Patree delivered. Harvested 16 lbs for Fayette County Project Outreach. Shona picked up Monday’s harvest as well as held tomatoes from the previous week. Hand watered archway boxes. Picked and disposed of 16 celebrity grafted tomatoes (5 lb) half eaten by rodent and/or stink bug. Picked and disposed of 3 celebrity grafted tomatoes (1 lb) eaten by rodent. Harvested 4 celebrity grafted tomato (1 lb), held for future use. Harvested 7 homestead tomatoes (2 lb), held for future use. Picked and disposed 3 homestead tomato (1b), eaten by stink bug, rodent, or fruit worm. Picked and disposed of 5 homestead grafted tomato (1.5 lb), eaten by stink bug, fruit worm, or rodent.

Harvested one 3 ft x 10 ft box of Vardaman sweet potato in plot 3— 28 lbs. Held sweet potato leaves for composters.
52 lbs total edible harvest. 


On Tuesday July 26 - Teresa and Riley harvested and delivered zinnia to Page Robbins and library. Spent time deadheading.

On Thursday July 28 - cancelled for 3+ inches of rain in 2 days....
